The Local Government Unit of Tinambac commemorated the 125th anniversary of Philippine Independence with the theme “KALAYAAN 2023: KALAYAAN, KINABUKASAN, KASAYSAYAN” (Freedom, Future, History).
Municipal employees and Local Government Unit officials headed by Municipal Mayor Atty. Ruel Brioso Tuy, Department Heads, DepEd Officials, Barangay Officials, the Bureau of Fire Protection, the Philippine National Police, and other government agencies were all present during the program, which began at 7 a.m. in front of the Rizal Monument in Tinambac Town Plaza. The messages of the guest speaker, Mr. Michael Postrado Vale, perfectly exemplified this year’s Kalayaan theme, as did the messages from Municipal Mayor Atty. Ruel Brioso Tuy, municipal councilors, Hon. Ervin T. Borja, Hon.Jonas Cabiles Soltes, and Hon.Jerome A. Geronimo
