Additionally, the Local Government Unit of Tinambac recognized its outstanding employees for their exemplary performances as hardworking public servants worthy of appreciation and emulation, as well as the two department heads who will retire this year, Municipal Assessor Ma’am Raquel T.Hiloma and Secretary to the Sangguniang Bayan, Benedicto D. Besa. This year’s celebration also honored the outstanding elementary and secondary school principals, school heads, and DepEd personnel in both Tinambac North and South Districts.

The Local Government Unit of Tinambac also recognized the most outstanding Barangay Health Workers, Barangay Nutrition Scholars, and Child Development Workers, highlighting their long years of dedicated service despite their modest salaries. Mayor Tuy expressed his gratitude to everyone for showing appreciation for Dr. Jose P. Rizal’s heroism in sacrificing his life for the love of his countrymen and his country. He likened the teachers, Barangay Health Workers, Barangay Nutrition Scholars, and Child Development Workers to modern-day heroes and recognized the hard work of our local government utility workers, especially the outstanding personnel assigned to the garbage collection in the municipality.

Mayor Tuy also asked the Sangguniang Bayan Members to propose an ordinance for the welfare and security of work for the Barangay Nutrition Scholars, Barangay Health Workers, and Child Development Workers. He also added that if our modern-day heroes get tired, it’s okay to rest, pray, and rise again to the challenges of time and assured that the Local Government Unit of Tinambac is always ready to be a shoulder to lean on.

On behalf of the Local Government Unit of Tinambac, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their cooperation in making the 127th Jose Rizal’s martyrdom celebration a successful one.
