As part of the 45th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Month last July 26, 2023, our PWD brothers and sisters gathered to celebrate the 16th General Assembly of Persons with Disabilities with a theme “Person with Disabilities Accessibility and Rights Towards a Sustainable Future Where No One is Left Behind.”
The celebration began with a Holy Mass with Rev. Fr. Noel Emmanuel P. Alforte, followed by the free Medical Checkup at the Disability Clinic of HELP Learning Center Foundation Inc. headed by Dr. Fe L. Delos Reyes, Dr. Imelda C. Square, Ms. Montana Carilimdiliman PTRP, Ms. Claudette R. Dulong PTRP, and Ms. Maria Perpetua RPT, with the assistant of personnel of the Municipal Health Office under the direction of Dr. John Paul E. Reazon, Municipal Health Officer, Rural Health Unit II Chief Dr. Milade P. Briones and other personnel of Tinambac Rural Health Units I and II.
Present at the celebration was Mayor Atty. Ruel Brioso Tuy, together with Vice Mayor Bobit Prades, Councilor Jerome Geronimo, Councilor Kikay Delos Reyes, SK Federation President Niel Bryan A. Romanggaya, Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer Nilda P. Evalla RSW, Mr. Reynesto U. Catapang PWD Federation President, Mr. Jose Antonio Delos Reyes of HELP Learning Center Foundation, and professor of Ateneo de Naga University as guest speaker this year.
