LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
The most anticipated basketball tournament in the municipality is now open! Take a look at the highlights and snapshots during the opening ceremonies and day one of the 2023 SUMMER BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT yesterday at Tinambac Sports Plaza.
Participated by twenty-nine teams from the different barangays of Tinambac, the program kicked off with a parade followed by a friendly exhibition game between Team Tinambac and Team Papa Tantan. There will be other game sets with the other teams in barangays in the succeeding days.
Spearheaded by the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Tinambac headed by SKF President Niel Bryan A.Romanggaya and the Local Government Unit of Tinambac under the able leadership of Municipal Mayor Atty. Ruel Brioso Tuy, Vice Mayor Bobit P. Prades, and the Sangguniang Bayan, this initiative which is one of the highlights of the 16th Himoragat Festival aims to develop basketball prowess while upholding sportsmanship and camaraderie among barangays.
