The contest is open to all Novice, Amateur, and Professional Youth Artists, Songwriters, Composers, Lyricists, Group Bands, and School’s Choir Groups. Residents of Tinambac are strongly encouraged to join.
โข Song entries are open to all genres such as Pop, Upbeat, Jazz, Ballad, R&B, and Rap. We also encourage participants to explore the use of indigenous/ethnic instruments and/or rhythms.
โข The song with music video must be the original composition of the participants (lyrics/message, musical arrangement). Entries can ask for help or collaborate with adult artists as long as 70% of the work (song composition, performance, acting, shooting and editing, etc.) should be performed by the participant/s.
โข Any number of musical instruments may be used.
โข Participants may submit up to two (2) song entries.

โข The Entry must be related to, reflective of, or appropriate to Tinambacโs historical significance, traditional practices, artistic expressions, and the annual celebration of the Himoragat Festival.
โข Tinambac history can be accessed through Tinambac website https://tinambac.gov.ph
โข Lyrics should be in Word File Format including the name of the Composer(s), Lyricist(s), and/or Arranger(s) with age/contact numbers/email
โข Entries should be in MP3 audio and MP4 video format; Song and video entries must not exceed five (5) minutes, including intro. Entries must be submitted in full accompaniment version
โข Lyrics should be in Bicol Language;

โข Recording and video shooting must be limited to indoors or exclusive locations. The production crew including actors in the music video entries must not exceed 5 people.
โข Entries submitted in previous competitions or commercially released (i.e., recorded and commercially distributed, sold to the public, or uploaded to any online/social media platforms) are disqualified.
โข Words and visuals with registered trademarks/brand names, as well as explicit and offensive lyrics and images are strictly not allowed.
โข All entries (musical composition/arrangement)
shall be considered final once submitted, and
cannot be modified or altered before the
selection and announcement of winners.

Tinambac & Tinambac โ LGU Tourism.
โข Winning entries will be considered as property of
the Local Government Unit of Tinambac, which
shall have exclusive rights to the songs.
โข Entries submitted in previous competitions or
commercially released (i.e., recorded and
commercially distributed, sold to the public, or
uploaded to any online/social media platforms)
are disqualified.
โข Contestants must declare that entry does not infringe any 3rd partyโs copyright. Any situation that may arise about copyright infringement will be on the accountability of the participant.
โข If an entry is selected as a finalist, the organizer shall have the unlimited right, worldwide and in perpetuity, to use, re-arrange, and make improvements to the musical composition.
โข The Top 5 song entries will be posted on the official Facebook account of LGU Tinambac.
โข The Top 5 Entries may be shared and the entries with the greatest number of โlikesโ shall serve as part of the audience impact criteria. In case mass gatherings will still be limited, the likes/reactions shall serve as the full basis for audience impact criteria.
โข From the Top 5 Entries, the Top 3 Winners will be announced via the Local Government Unit of Tinambac’s Official FB Page and they will be informed through call/ text and via email.
โข The Top 3 Entries will also perform their musical composition during the Himoragat Festival Events.
โข A board of judges for the contest will be organized. Decisions of the panel will be final and unappealable.
