On the eighth of January, 2024, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office of Tinambac, led by LDRRMO III Romil L. Estolano, RN, proactively implemented measures to ensure the safety of residents in light of the continuous rainfall. The emergency responders collaborated with barangay officials and conducted assessments in areas that are susceptible to landslides and flash floods, particularly in Barangay Bagacay, Mananao, Sta. Cruz, New Caaluan, San Roque, and Tamban.
Moreover, the emergency responders forewarned the residents residing in low-lying and flood-prone areas to maintain a state of vigilance and prepare for any eventualities that may arise due to the ongoing rainfall.

The swift response and coordination between the emergency responders and barangay officials are commendable and reflect their unwavering commitment to safeguarding the residents in the face of potential natural disasters.
