Vision
The MDRRMO seeks to enhance the capability of the people to be resilient to whatever calamity or disaster that they will be experiencing. We also envision a Municipality of safer, adaptive and disaster resilient community toward sustainable development.
Mission
The MDRRMO aims to equip the community with skills and knowledge regarding effective Disaster Management that revolves on Disaster Preparedness, Disaster Response, Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, and Disaster Rehabilitation and Recovery, the four thematic areas in the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan.
Mandate
The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office is responsible for setting the direction, development, implementation and coordination of disaster risk management programs within our territorial jurisdiction as mandated in the R.A. No. 10121.
