Mission
To facilitate effective management of resources for sustainable development to achieve lasting improvement in the quality of life through preventive health care system. To achieve better health which requires more involvement by grouping themselves as individuals, families and communities taking action in their behalf by adopting healthy behavior and ensuring healthy environment.
Mandate
Formulate and implement policies, plans, programs and projects to promote the health of the people in the LGU concerned. Conduct health information campaigns and render health intelligence services.

ABOUT THE SERVICES
The Municipal Health office manages an anti-tuberculosis program. The purpose is to
identify and treat patients with TB. Drugs and medicine are provided free of charge.
This program caters to the so called TB symptomatic, meaning, patients having a chronic cough of more than 2wks or coughing out of blood, afternoon low grade fever, body weakness and sudden weight loss.

This service provides a comprehensive maternal care program for pregnant and lactating mothers.

ABOUT THE SERVICES
The purpose of this service is to immunize children 0 to 11mos old from immunizable diseases and pregnant mothers to prevent the occurrence of Tetanus Neonatorum in infants.
