BRIEF HISTORY OF THE BARANGAY

San Ramon has a total land area of 1,249.6581 with a total number of populations of 1,401 inhabitants and 282 households.

Our barangay is 14 kilometers away from the Poblacion of Tinambac. Bounded on the north by Barangay Sagrada, in the eastern part by Barangay  Tamban, Barangay Pantat at the western part,  and Barangay San Roque and Barangay Banga at the South.

Camp 7, San Ramon was known for by the Pioneers, the first inhabitants that migrates this place. Because of its huge land area, San Ramon was declared a resettlement base, a homestead  project by the time of the late President Ramon Magsaysay, NARRA, for National Resettlement and Rehabilitation Project Administration.

It was by the year 1956 when batch of settlers came. They were the applicants for this homestead projects. Each family were given or awarded home lots and farm lots and they were provided also with materials for their dwellings, food and tools. Pioneers also were given the same privileges.

Because of President  Magsaysay generosity, our barangay was  named to honor him. Barangay fiesta celebration comes in every 31st of August and San Ramon Nonatos as our Patron Saint.
