SLPs PAMANA Program
Last week, Mayor Atty. Ruel Brioso Tuy led the awarding of a cheque worth Three Hundred Thousand Pesos (300,000.00) to the Agri-Rice of Bataan PAMANA Sustainable Livelihood Program Association. The three hundred thousand worth of livelihood project was funded through the SLP’s PAMANA Program. He was joined by Barangay Bataan Officials headed by Punong Barangay Daniel ViƱas and members of the SLP Association.
Payapa at Masaganang Pamayanan(PAMANA) is the national government convergence program that expects development interventions to isolate hard-to-reach and conflict-affected communities ensuring that they are not left behind.
On the other hand, Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) is a program that provides identified poor families the appropriate income-generating opportunities through micro-enterprise or employment to help improve their level of economic sufficiency.
Special thanks to the Department of Social Welfare and Development Regional Office V for this wonderful collaboration with the Local Government Unit of Tinambac.
